It was hard to miss QuickShot Technology, Inc. at Comdex Fall `97. Present with a
new booth, three new products the 3D Striker, MasterPilot `98 and Sound
Force 680, and game stations dedicated to showcasing these new products, QuickShot
was prominent in their display which was increasingly evident by the number
of people that stopped by to visit the booth.
The New QuickShot Booth
QuickShot's new booth was extremely inviting with all products on display for visitors to examine. A giant rotating cube imprinted with the QuickShot logo hung from the ceiling, and a glass pyramid displayed their newest product the 3D Striker. |

3D Striker
Two game stations were dedicated to displaying the 3D Striker,
QuickShot's fully digital gaming keyboard with a rotational
3D handle - ideal for first-person action games. Passersby
could try their skill using the 3D Striker with the games
Blood and Shadow Warrior.
This is the first gaming product of its kind to incorporate a joystick-like ergonomic concept onto the keyboard. One of the most common questions was "Can I buy one of these right now?" |

MasterPilot '98 The third game station displayed MasterPilot `98 and visitors used the game Top Gun to test the console. MasterPilot `98 is primarily used for flight simulation games and puts you in the cockpit, as if you were a real pilot. The MasterPilot `98 supports 77 different games and allows the user to focus more on the game than on memorizing the functions on the keyboard. It includes a custom game card for each game setting with its specific commands. The MasterPilot Programmer will be available January 1998 and allows you to custom program up to five new game setups per cartridge. Sound Force 680Each game station was equipped with a pair of QuickShot's Sound Force 680 multimedia speakers. The 4-inch woofers and 1.5-inch tweeters give a 3D sound enhancement by using QSound Virtual Audio. QSound provides the most extreme sound thus enhancing the gaming experience. | |
