Combining digital and analog controls, the
X2 Pad is designed to be the most dynamic
controller for any kind of game.
For action games, X2 Pad's DIGITAL
mode allows the player to make quick moves through the digital thumb pad. For flight-sim games,
the player can use the analog control stick and the

built-in throttle by simply switching to the
ANALOG mode. The MSRP for the X2 Pad for PC is $24.99. There will also be an X2 Pad for N64, with a MSRP of $29.99. Both versions of the X2 Pad will be available by February.

The 3D Striker
"I was really surprised at how realistic it looked. It closely resembles part of the cockpit of the F-117A." From a civilian pilot: "I like the fact that the console is much easier to use than a keyboard. Any pilot will tell you that flying a plane is a difficult thing to do. We don't have time to memorize all those different keyboard commands. The MasterPilot takes away all that and represents realistic cockpit controls, enabling us (the players) to get into the flight simulation or flying games a lot quicker and easier, and have more fun. From an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who regularly flies the B-52 StratoFortress Bomber: "I've done some flight simulation in the past and I've got to say, this MasterPilot console makes things a whole lot easier. When you've got tons of military equipment at your hands at 20,000 feet, and you have ten different things you have to monitor, you don't have time to think about what buttons to push. You go on instinct. The MasterPilot accurately represents a flight console and allows the pilot to quickly enter commands without having to think too much." |
